By combining a compressor, overdrive, and envelope filter into a single stompbox, Dreadbox has created an all-in-one solution for attaining thick, saturated tones along with funk-infused autowah that reacts beautifully to your playing. It all starts with the onboard 2-way toggle that lets you choose between Comp Color or Env Filter modes. The Comp Color mode toggles on the Kinematic's compressor, with the Filter knob acting as a frequency boost and the Envelope knob controlling the ratio. When paired with the Drive control, the Comp Color side is perfect for dialing in subtle overdriven textures as well as face-melting fuzz.
