’59 Sound – Legendary Tweed Bassman Emulation

The ’59 Sound pedal is a tribute to the iconic 1959 Tweed Fender Bassman, capturing the essence and magical tones of this legendary amplifier. Designed with a nod to its historical significance, the '59 Sound emulates the distinctive character that made the original Bassman a favorite among guitarists and an influential model for Marshall amplifiers.

While Zack has never been a fan of distorted Fender amps, he found the '59 Bassman’s tonal quality to be exceptional, particularly when compared to other Fenders. Inspired by the way the '59 Bassman influenced Jim Marshall's design of the first Marshall amps, the ’59 Sound aims to recreate that unique tone. Tommy Rehbein, our customer service specialist, meticulously fine-tuned the Box of Rock to faithfully reproduce the '59 Bassman sound after extensive listening and adjustments.
