Blimp

The Blimp is the ultimate windshield and shock mounting system, specifically designed for RØDE shotgun microphones but also compatible with third-party shotgun microphones up to 325mm in length. It features the Rycote® Lyre® suspension system for superior isolation from handling noise, ensuring clean and interference-free audio capture. The system includes an ultra-lightweight and ergonomic handle, with a heavy-duty Mogami® cable inside that minimizes vibration transference, enhancing your microphone's performance.

The Blimp easily attaches to any standard boompole via a 3/8-inch thread attachment at the base. For added convenience, the Universal Blimp Mount (sold separately) allows for removal of the handle when primarily used on a boompole. The package also includes the Dead Wombat windshield, a caring brush, and a tail/patch cable.
